Earlier this week, I was thrilled to be a featured guest on Piper Harris’ Caring Through Covid Lunch n Learn Series!

Piper is CEO of Poiema Coaching, a Women’s Leadership Success Coaching firm dedicated to empowering women and organizations into heightened leadership. Piper and I met a few months back at a networking event at The Circuit, and we’ve kept in touch online ever since. When she asked me to come chat about SEO and digital marketing for small businesses and solopreneurs, I gladly accepted.

The Caring Through Covid Lunch n Learns have had other incredible guests so far, so I’d absolutely recommend checking those out, too. And Piper is sharing all these valuable resources for free as a way to provide value and offer support during this strange, weird time of Coronavirus.

In case you missed it, here are a couple of video highlights, along with the entire Zoom call, which is also available on Youtube!

  • What are the biggest mistakes small businesses make when stepping into the world of digital marketing
  • What is SEO, how does it work, and why is it important?
  • How has optimizing digital marketing helped me balance personal and professional life
  • The impact social media can have on growing a business
  • Social media marketing don’ts

Piper also asked me to share some feedback on her own digital marketing (where she’s excelling, and what areas could use some work), and I was happy to share.

Lastly, I also shared some core tips small businesses should practice to grow their own digital marketing. Piper and I also worked hard on creating a completely free workbook, which guides the user through questions like, “How do I serve (and how)?”, “What’s your value?” and more. Want it? Download it here!

I’d like to share my deepest gratitude to Piper for inviting me to join her on the Lunch n Learn, and I look forward to checking out the rest of the series as they launch!
