Ok so, not to sound like a whining princess, but I hate my new schedule. But, in order to shine some light on the pros and the cons, here is what I have so far:
Cons: (because right now, they’re easier to do)
-I get to work later than I’d like to. I was getting in at 7:30. which I loved.
-I’m at work at 6 still. No, not because I’m working on a deadline, because that’s my new time to sit around and stay until they need me.
-I don’t get home until 6:45 or so now.
– I’m not an afternoon/night person.
-I have a huge stretch in the afternoons between lunch and when I leave. I could switch my lunchtime, but then I’d be anti-social and I’d eat alone. See how that works?
-I’m an early bird, always have been. This “hey, you get to sleep later” stuff is silly; I’ll never do that.
-I don’t have children, so it’s not beneficial to me to have extra time in the mornings.
-I can stay up later.
-I can sleep in a little longer.
I only have 3 hours in the morning before lunch.
And that’s all I got. It’s really put a damper on me.
Everything else is going well, though. I’m all moved in save for a handful of things still at my old place. I have to make a trip there this weekend to clean and stuff, and I’ll grab the rest of it then.
My roommate and I get along famously, mostly because we’ve known each other 8 years and we’ve already lived together once. It works.
