Upon numerous attempts to write a bio page, I realized that writing bios are h a r d.
So what about me?
I’m an aspiring writer and high school teacher. (Fingers crossed). Member of Zona Rosa. Graduate of Kennesaw State University (English Literature). I’m currently doing the stay-at-home-Mom thing, but you can hire me if you like. I am a recovering speed demon. (Modest) undiscovered genius. I love to laugh and my sense of humor knows no bounds.
A (wise) few have said I have a flair for words, but I don’t really like talking about my flair.
Likes: Mexican food, coffee, well-written poetry, perfecting my green thumb, birds, traveling, Southern writers, Southern gothic anything, a good quote, having my hard work pay off, keeping people guessing, the smell of grass and gasoline, fish tacos from El Nopalito, Spring, spending hours in a bookstore.
The few hours of the day I’m not sporting a rockin’ diaper bag, I’m usually spending time with my husband and our dog, cleaning the house, or trying to catch up on our Netflix movie queue.
Why do I blog?
Easy. My goal is simply to entertain my readers (be there 5 or 50) – to provide a snippet of writing, a photo, or a question that they can ponder and appreciate and enjoy. it’s true that my blog is pretty erratic. It doesn’t focus on a particular idea, but many ideas that amalgamate to form a love of life and things.
